Preparation
1️⃣ 🍚 Cooking
Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ 🔪 Cutting
Cut the chicken into small cubes. Finely chop the onion, pepper and garlic.
3️⃣ 🔥 Sauté
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
4️⃣ 🍗 Cooking
Add the chicken, salt, pepper and paprika. Fry for 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked. 5️⃣ 🫑 Stirring
Add the paprika, rice and tomato sauce. Mix well and simmer for 3-4 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the flavours.
6️⃣ 🧀 Filling
Spread the hot filling in the middle of the tortillas. Add grated cheese and herbs.
7️⃣ 🌯 Roll up
Fold in the sides and roll up tightly to form burritos.
8️⃣ 🔥 Grill
Bake for 2-3 minutes in a pan or on the grill to lightly brown and seal the rolls.
💡 Recipe tip
: Make the filling the day before: assembling the rolls only takes 5 minutes that day.
